It′s time too take laughter seriously - Dr Madan Kataria

Laughter Therapy

Laugh when you can - it is cheap medicine

Byron

Laughter Therapy is a non-threatening approach to a vulnerable client group to help them:

  • drop their defences
  • communicate comfortably
  • build their confidence
  • clarify their goals
  • think positively

It allows people to:

  • experience the energising qualities of laughter
  • learn to use laughter as a stress-busting tool
  • learn the latest international research results on psycho-neuro-immunology (PNI) and the laughter/health link
  • learn to use laughter to stimulate their natural creativity
  • discover the healing power of laughter
  • learn to use laughter for anger management

Each session is an interactive with contributions from delegates actively encouraged.

The style is fluid rather than rigid to allow maximum responsiveness to client needs.

The session is a blend of formal training and dissemination of information flexibly and creatively combined with specific input from the group.

This flexibility allows relevance and practical application for every group
